BuildLog is a simple program for keeping track of time worked while
building an experimental aircraft, restoring a car, or any other
project that requires simple time tracking. It allows you to easily
track and organize your work by date, component, time
spent, etc. Pictures can also be added, with descriptions, and
BuildLog supports exporting data to tab-separated files for use with
Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and various other programs capable
of custom reporting and printing.
Version 2 was released on February 19, 2021 and added the ability
to take breaks while working and not have that time counted towards
time spent on the project. It also has an updated user interface
and larger fonts, making it easier on the eyes.
BuildLog is a free program (
donations are appreciated!)
and like all of my software, BuildLog is not digitally signed because
of the cost associated with doing so for free software. You may
receive a warning that this software is from an unknown publisher
during installation. The software is safe to install as long as you
download it from this website.
This will be the final version of BuildLog and there are no plans to
develop it any further at this time.

On Windows, BuildLog requires the Microsoft .NET runtime version 4.7.2
or later. You probably already have this on your computer, but if not,
please download and install it from
Microsoft.
